As a member of UMS, you are welcome to attend all our fun events and have the opportunity to enrich your student life, such as the popular activities organized by FestMästeriet and SportMästeriet, and experience everything that makes student life more enjoyable. You can also apply for funding for student activities that you want to organize yourself.

As a member of the Umeå Medical Sciences Student Union, you receive a student union card. With this card, you can visit all Umeå’s student bars, and especially our very own union house, the historic and somewhat legendary Kårhuset Villan. Villan offers a wide range of pubs, events, and fun activities, always to student-friendly prices.

The membership gives you access to support and counseling regarding your rights as a student.

As a union member, you also get discounted rates at places like IKSU and cheaper coffee at Kahls.
